First 10 days, last 10 days or the full month?

Every Umrah performed in Ramadan is an Umrah in Ramadan, whichever week you travel. The right part of the month depends on your budget, your health and what you want from the trip.

First ten days (from about 8 February 2027)

The first ten days are usually the calmest part of Ramadan in Makkah and Madinah. Hotels are easier to find and prices are lower than in the last ten nights. This suits first-time pilgrims, elderly parents and families who want to fast in the Haram without the peak crowds.

Middle ten days (from about 18 February 2027)

Crowds build steadily through the middle of the month. A trip from mid-Ramadan can be extended into the start of the last ten nights, which gives you some of both.

Last ten nights (from the evening of 27 February 2027)

The last ten nights are the most sought-after part of the year for Umrah, because pilgrims seek Laylat al-Qadr in the odd nights. They also bring the heaviest crowds, the earliest hotel sell-outs and the highest prices. Departures that stay until 9 March 2027 can give you Eid al-Fitr in Makkah or Madinah.

Full month (about 30 days)

A full-month trip covers the whole of Ramadan and usually Eid. It suits pilgrims who can be away for a month and want to spend all of Ramadan in the Haramain. Long stays need careful planning for medicines, rest and money.

Why Ramadan Umrah costs more, and when to book

Ramadan is the busiest Umrah season of the year. Hotels close to Masjid al-Haram and Masjid an-Nabawi fill first, then the closest shuttle hotels, and group flights from Pakistan fill soon after. That is why Ramadan packages cost more than the same trip in November or December.

The biggest choice you make is the hotel distance. A walking-distance hotel saves elderly pilgrims a lot of effort at taraweeh and tahajjud, while a shuttle hotel costs less but depends on the bus timings. Compare both on our Umrah hotels by distance guide, our Makkah hotels page and the guides to the best Makkah hotels near the Haram and the best Madinah hotels near Masjid Nabawi.

When to book: register as early as you can, and book once airlines release their Ramadan schedules and we load the departures here. We will not guess a booking deadline, but the hotels and flights nearest Ramadan sell out first. Remember the visa rule: the Saudi 1448 AH calendar issues Umrah visas only until 9 March 2027, so your visa must be issued before Eid.

Itikaf, Rawdah and Eid during Ramadan Umrah

Itikaf

For Ramadan 1447, itikaf at the Two Holy Mosques ran from 20 to 30 Ramadan. Registration was through the General Authority’s portal (eservices.alharamain.gov.sa), with Nafath login for citizens and residents, and applications were accepted by available capacity, with successful applicants told by text message (Saudi Press Agency, 19 Feb 2026). The rules for Ramadan 1448 have not been announced yet, as of 24 October 2026. We can’t guarantee itikaf for Umrah-visa pilgrims from Pakistan; check the 1448 rules when they are published.

Rawdah (Riaz ul Jannah)

A visit to the Rawdah in Masjid an-Nabawi needs a permit from the Nusuk app. A new permit can be issued only 365 days after your previous one (Ministry of Hajj and Umrah via Ajel, 10 Oct 2026). Ramadan visiting hours are announced separately each year, so book in the app as early as you can; no agency can promise a slot.

Eid al-Fitr in Makkah or Madinah

Eid al-Fitr 1448 is expected on Tuesday 9 March 2027. If you want Eid prayer in Makkah or Madinah, choose a departure whose stay covers 9 March, and allow for a one-day change after the moon sighting. We will mark the departures that cover Eid once they are loaded.

Ramadan Umrah with parents, children and infants

Ramadan Umrah with elderly parents works best with a hotel close to the Haram, a wheelchair arranged in advance and tawaf at quieter times, for example after fajr or late morning rather than straight after iftar or taraweeh. Fasting in the heat of the crowds is tiring, so plan rest between prayers. Our guide for elderly Umrah travellers covers wheelchairs, medicines and pacing.

Children and infants pay less than adults. The exact child (with or without a bed) and infant price for each Ramadan departure is confirmed in writing before you pay. Read our Umrah with children guide before you travel, and our women’s Umrah guide if a woman in your group is travelling without a mahram.

Rooms: Sharing rooms take 4–6 people depending on the room size. Quad, Triple and Double rooms are also available for families and couples.

Documents, vaccination and visa for Ramadan Umrah

Full details are in our Umrah visa requirements for Pakistanis guide, the Umrah packing checklist and the first-time Umrah guide.

Are flights to Saudi Arabia operating?

As of 9 October 2026, the Pakistan Airports Authority said flight operations to Saudi Arabia were continuing as usual, and that PIA had temporarily suspended flights only to Riyadh (Radio Pakistan, 9 Oct 2026). Umrah groups normally fly to Jeddah or Madinah. We will update this section if the situation changes, and we confirm your airline, route and dates in writing before you pay.

Ramadan Umrah from Islamabad, Wah Cantt and Rawalpindi

Islamabad International Airport is the nearest airport for Wah Cantt, Taxila, Hasan Abdal and Rawalpindi, and it is where most of our groups fly from. See today’s dates on our Umrah packages from Islamabad and Rawalpindi pages; Ramadan departures will be added there and here when they are loaded.

Good To Know

Frequently Asked Questions

When does Ramadan 2027 start and end?

Ramadan 1448 is expected to start on Monday 8 February 2027, and Eid al-Fitr is expected on Tuesday 9 March 2027, per the Umm al-Qura calendar. Both dates are subject to moon sighting: Eid may fall on 10 March if Ramadan runs 30 days, and Pakistan may begin a day later than Saudi Arabia.

When are the last 10 nights of Ramadan 2027?

The last ten nights are expected to begin on the evening of Saturday 27 February 2027. The odd nights are expected on the evenings of 27 February, 1 March, 3 March, 5 March (the 27th night) and 7 March 2027, subject to moon sighting.

How much is a Ramadan Umrah package 2027 from Pakistan?

We have not published Ramadan 2027 prices yet, as of 24 October 2026. Prices will appear on this page only from real, dated departures. Ramadan usually costs more than November–December; see our current Umrah price list for today’s departures, and register on WhatsApp to get Ramadan prices first.

Why is the last ten days package more expensive?

Demand peaks in the last ten nights because pilgrims seek Laylat al-Qadr and many want Eid in Makkah or Madinah. Hotels near the Haram sell out first and airlines raise fares for those dates. We will show the real difference once our Ramadan 2027 departures are loaded.

Can I get an Umrah visa for Ramadan 2027? What is the last date?

Yes. The Saudi 1448 AH Umrah calendar allows Umrah visas to be issued until 1 Shawwal 1448 (9 March 2027), entry until 23 March 2027 and departure until 7 April 2027 (Ministry of Hajj and Umrah 1448 AH Umrah season calendar). The Umrah visa is included in our packages.

Can I do itikaf on an Umrah package?

Itikaf is not guaranteed. In Ramadan 1447 it ran from 20 to 30 Ramadan, with registration on the Haramain authority’s portal and places allocated by capacity (Saudi Press Agency, 19 Feb 2026). The 1448 rules have not been announced yet, as of 24 October 2026.

Can I visit Riaz ul Jannah (Rawdah) in Ramadan?

Only with a permit from the Nusuk app. A new Rawdah permit can be issued 365 days after your previous one (Ministry of Hajj and Umrah via Ajel, 10 Oct 2026). Book in the app as early as you can; we cannot guarantee a slot.

What do children and infants pay in Ramadan?

Children and infants pay less than adults. The exact child (with or without a bed) and infant price for Ramadan 2027 is confirmed per departure, in writing, before you pay.

Do you sell Ramadan Umrah tickets only?

We sell full Umrah packages with flights, visa, hotels and transport. If you need a ticket only, ask us on WhatsApp and we will tell you what we can offer for your dates; see also our air ticketing page.
