Documents — Don't Fly Without These

Passport (valid 6+ months) and printed Umrah visa
Flight e-ticket and hotel confirmation from Diyanat Travels
CNIC / B-Form copies for every traveller
Passport-size photographs (a few spares)
Diyanat Travels WhatsApp number saved and written down on paper

Ihram & Clothing

Men: 2 sets of unstitched Ihram sheets, an Ihram belt, spare safety pins
Women: 2–3 modest, loose, breathable outfits and headscarves
Comfortable sandals or flat shoes, broken in before travel
A light jacket or shawl for air-conditioned spaces

Toiletries & Health

Unscented soap and toiletries (scented products aren't used in Ihram)
Any personal medication, clearly labelled, in hand luggage
Basic first-aid items — blister plasters, pain relief, rehydration salts
Sunscreen and a small umbrella or cap for Makkah's heat

Electronics & Money

Phone, charger and a universal travel adapter
A small crossbody bag for documents and phone during Tawaf
Saudi Riyals in small denominations, plus your usual cards

What NOT to Bring

Scented perfumes or cosmetics while in the state of Ihram
Valuables you don't need — keep it simple and light

Two sets is a practical minimum, so you always have a clean set available.

Can I bring scented toiletries?

Not while in the state of Ihram — pack unscented soap and lotions for that portion of your trip.

What's the most commonly forgotten item?

Written-down emergency contact details (in case a phone is lost or battery dies) and spare passport photos are the two most commonly forgotten items.
