Saudi Arabia hasn't added new entry requirements for Umrah in 2026, but some things did change for Pakistanis: you need a Nusuk permit, a Riaz ul Jannah permit is allowed once every 365 days, visas include a food voucher of about SAR 20 a day, airports check vaccination certificates, and the last entry date is 23 March 2027.

What changed this season is permits, deadlines and paperwork, not who may travel. Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Hajj and Umrah (MoHU) told Asharq Al-Awsat on 16 September 2026 that there are no new requirements for Umrah arrivals, while Pakistan has tightened its own side. Every change, with its date and source:

The basics are the same as last season. The Saudi Umrah visa fee is still about SAR 300 plus compulsory insurance, and you still need a passport with at least six months' validity; our Umrah visa fee and documents guide has the full list in rupees. An Umrah visa is still issued only with a service package of accommodation and transport booked through an approved agent, so a "visa only" is not available (MoHU FAQ). You can stay up to 90 days.
Under current Saudi rules, women can perform Umrah without a mahram. For your specific case, ask us on WhatsApp at 0330-3786333. Saudi Arabia dropped the male-guardian requirement for women pilgrims in October 2022 (Arab News). See our women's Umrah guide.
Yes, Nusuk is compulsory: every pilgrim needs an Umrah permit from Nusuk before performing Umrah at Masjid al-Haram. The permit is a time slot for your Umrah, separate from your visa. Permits for the 1448 season opened on 1 June 2026, and the ministry's FAQ says you can hold only one active Umrah permit at a time; once it has been used or has expired, you can book the next one (MoHU FAQ).
To log in to Nusuk you register with your passport number, visa number, date of birth, nationality, mobile number and email. Your permit then shows in both Nusuk and Tawakkalna.
Nusuk Masar is a different thing: it is the ministry's platform for Umrah companies and agents, used for programmes, contracts and visa requests (masar.nusuk.sa). Pilgrims do not need to log in to it.
A Rawdah permit can now be booked only once every 365 days. In October 2026 the ministry said a new Riaz ul Jannah permit is issued only 365 days after the previous one, and only through Nusuk (MoHU via Ajel). The permit itself is free.
The same report mentions an "Immediate Track" for visitors already near the mosque. Timings for men and women differ and change, so check the open slots in Nusuk.
The last day to enter Saudi Arabia for Umrah this season is 23 March 2027. The full calendar from the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah is below.

Ramadan 1448 sits inside the season and its seats fill early. See our Ramadan Umrah packages 2027 for live group dates. The multiple-entry visa also cannot be used in the Hajj season; for Hajj information, see our Hajj guide.
Children of every age can go for Umrah, but each child, including infants, needs their own passport, a B-Form and their own Umrah visa; a child cannot travel on a parent's passport (Visawala). Vaccination checks at Pakistani airports apply to children too, so ask your doctor which doses fit your child's age and read our Umrah vaccination requirements guide. Check children's Nusuk and Rawdah rules in the app before you fly.
For practical tips see Umrah with children, and for room options see our family Umrah packages.
Child prices: Child (without bed): typically PKR 230,000. Infant: typically PKR 90,000. These vary by package, so please confirm on WhatsApp. See our family Umrah packages for the full package options.
Pakistan added three things this year. First, the Umra Rules, 2025, notified in July 2026 under the Haj and Umrah (Regulation) Act 2024, set duties for the companies that send Umrah groups: each must sign a service agreement, keep a system record of every service sold, and bring the whole group back on time; begging and absconding are banned. If services are not provided, you can complain to the complaint committee within 60 days, and it must decide within 45 days (The News).
Second, FIA Standing Order 07/2026 (October 2026) says no passenger may be offloaded on verbal instructions; every decision must be written and recorded in the Integrated Border Management System, as reported by Pakistan Observer; the FIA has not published the text.
Third, airport vaccination checks are back. Border Health Services ended the Peshawar exemption at 10:00 on 25 October 2026 (DNA News), and Karachi's checks start at 10:00 on 20 November 2026 (The Nation). Lahore had not announced a date as of 25 October 2026, and our customers report that Islamabad airport is also checking Umrah vaccination certificates. Full details are in our vaccination guide.
Our advice: check that your agent holds a valid licence, ask for the licence number, and make sure your group's visa and bookings are confirmed in the official system before you pay in full. Diyanat Travels' licence number is DTS-12187.
Pakistani Umrah visas now include a meal voucher of about SAR 20 per day of stay. From 1 Rabi-ul-Awwal 1448 (August 2026), Saudi Arabia made a meal service part of Umrah programmes for pilgrims from Pakistan, India, Bangladesh and Egypt (ProPakistani, The News). It is linked to your visa with a code and used at restaurants registered on Nusuk in Makkah and Madinah. You do not buy it separately: it is part of the visa or package cost. Our Umrah visa fee guide shows how it affects the price.
When you book a group with us, we check your passport, B-Forms and vaccination papers before the visa is applied and confirm the season deadlines against your dates.
Our team helps you book your Nusuk permit and Rawdah slot in the app. You make the booking in your own Nusuk account, and we show you how to pick a time slot and where to find your permit.

Saudi Arabia says there are no new entry requirements for Umrah. Pakistan has also added its own Umra Rules, FIA offloading rules and airport vaccination checks.
