Yes. As of 25 October 2026, Umrah is open and flights from Pakistan to Jeddah are operating. Riyadh flights have been disrupted; see the Riyadh and PIA sections below. All 287 of our upcoming Umrah groups fly to Jeddah, and some return from Madinah, so none of them is routed via Riyadh.

Riyadh's King Khalid International Airport resumed flights on 25 October 2026, with Terminal 1 for domestic flights and Terminal 2 for international flights by national carriers (Dawn). While it was closed, some Riyadh flights from Karachi and Peshawar were operated via Jeddah (Daily Times). This does not affect our Umrah groups, which fly to Jeddah.
PIA suspended its Riyadh flights on 9 October 2026 and had not announced a resumption date as of 25 October. The Pakistan Airports Authority said flights to other Saudi cities continue (The National). PIA's Jeddah and Madinah flights are not part of that suspension.
Connecting via the Gulf. Gulf airlines have cut some Saudi routes (The National, 25 October 2026): flydubai cancelled Riyadh, Dammam and Abha flights until 29 October; Emirates plans to resume Dubai–Jeddah on 30 October and Riyadh and Dammam on 8 November, while Madinah flights continue; Etihad cancelled Abu Dhabi–Riyadh and Dammam flights and some Jeddah flights (EY601 to EY604) until 5 November; SalamAir cancelled Riyadh and Dammam until 31 October; Qatar Airways reduced Jeddah flights from seven to four a day.
Our 12 SalamAir groups fly to Jeddah via Muscat; SalamAir's listed cancellations are Riyadh and Dammam, not Jeddah. Our Etihad group from Peshawar connects in Abu Dhabi on 25 Nov 2026, after Etihad's listed cancellations end on 5 November. If you booked a Gulf connection yourself, check it with the airline before you travel.
On 17 October 2026 Jeddah's King Abdulaziz International Airport moved all North Terminal flights to Terminal 4 and the Hajj and Umrah terminals, and asked travellers to check their departure terminal before going to the airport (Khaleej Times). SalamAir moved to Terminal 4 on 27 September and Fly Jinnah on 28 September (Khaleej Times). Check your terminal for the return flight on your ticket or in the airline's app.

Yes. As of 25 October 2026, flights from Pakistan to Jeddah and Madinah are operating. The Pakistan Airports Authority said only PIA's Riyadh flights were suspended and flights to other Saudi cities continue. All of our upcoming Umrah groups fly to Jeddah, and some return from Madinah.
Yes. Umrah visas are being issued for the 1448 season, which runs until the last visa date of 9 March 2027, the last entry date of 23 March 2027 and the last departure date of 7 April 2027, according to the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah calendar.
Umrah has not been stopped. As of 25 October 2026 the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has not announced any suspension of Umrah. The disruption since early October has been to flights at Riyadh airport and some Gulf airline routes, not to Jeddah or Madinah. We update this page with each change and its source.
Flights at Riyadh King Khalid International Airport have been disrupted. See the Riyadh section of this page for its status and source. Our Umrah groups do not use Riyadh.
PIA's Riyadh flights have been suspended. The Pakistan Airports Authority said PIA's other Saudi flights continue, including to Jeddah and Madinah.
