The official, free way to check whether your Umrah e-visa is issued — on the Saudi MOFA visa platform, with the passport number and first name — and how to print it.
In short: Open the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs visa platform at visa.mofa.gov.sa, go to Visitor Services → Print E-Visa, enter your passport number and your first name (or visa number), choose Pakistan, type the image code and search. If your Umrah visa has been issued, it opens on screen and you can save and print it. It costs nothing.
Umrah visa check: visa.mofa.gov.sa → Visitor Services → Print E-Visa → passport number + first name → Pakistan → search.
Your Umrah visa is applied for by your travel agent through the Saudi system, and it arrives as an e-visa — there is no stamp in the passport. That is why so many pilgrims search "Umrah visa check by passport number" in the days before the flight: to see with their own eyes that the visa is issued and to print it. This guide shows the official way to do it, read from the MOFA visa platform on 26 October 2026, and explains the screens that confuse people. For the visa fee, documents and children's rules, see our Umrah visa fee and requirements guide.
Go to visa.mofa.gov.sa, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs visa platform. Use the English link at the top if the page opens in Arabic.
From the homepage choose Visitor Services, then the Print E-Visa service. Do not use the inquiry box on the homepage: it asks for a registry number meant for the Saudi side of an application.
In First value choose Passport Number and type it exactly as printed. In Second value choose First Name, Visa Number, Application Number or Ministry of Hajj reference number and type it exactly as on your passport or visa papers.
Choose Pakistan as nationality, type the characters in the image code box and press the search or inquire button.
If the visa has been issued it opens on screen. Check your name, passport number and visa type, then save it as a PDF and print a copy for your hand luggage.
Tip: The page also has a "Device used" choice (barcode reader or passport reader). Ignore it on a phone or home computer and just fill in the two values.
The first thing you see on visa.mofa.gov.sa is an inquiry box for submitted applications. It asks for an application number together with a registry number. That box is built for the Saudi side of an application and for businesses, not for a pilgrim in Pakistan — so it returns nothing however carefully you type. The Ministry's own e-services catalogue lists its "Search for Umrah Application" service for businesses, which is why your agent can sometimes see a status that you cannot (MOFA e-services). Use Visitor Services → Print E-Visa instead.
Words like "submitted", "under process" or "send to embassy" that you may see in an agent's system describe the application stage. Until the e-visa opens on the Print E-Visa page, treat the visa as not ready.
Type your passport details only on visa.mofa.gov.sa. Several commercial sites copy the look of the MOFA page, show adverts, ask for money for a search that is free, or keep your passport data. The MOFA platform also carries a notice about a new trial platform, "KSA VISA" (ksavisa.sa); until your agent tells you otherwise, Print E-Visa on visa.mofa.gov.sa is the page to use for an Umrah e-visa.

Read article →Open visa.mofa.gov.sa, go to Visitor Services and choose Print E-Visa. Select Passport Number in the first box and First Name or Visa Number in the second, choose Pakistan as nationality, type the image code and search. If the visa is issued, it opens and you can print it.
Not on the MOFA Print E-Visa page. It asks for two identifiers. Your passport number is one; the second can be your first name, visa number, application number or Ministry of Hajj reference number. Most pilgrims use passport number plus first name.
Usually the visa has not been issued yet, or one detail does not match. Type the passport number without spaces and the first name exactly as in the machine-readable lines of your passport, choose Pakistan, and try again later. If it still fails, ask your travel agent for the visa number.
The MOFA Print E-Visa page does not ask for any payment. Use only visa.mofa.gov.sa. Other websites that copy its layout may ask for money or keep your passport details.
visa.mofa.gov.sa kholein, Visitor Services mein Print E-Visa chunein. Pehle khane mein Passport Number aur doosre mein First Name likhein, nationality Pakistan select karein, image code likh kar search karein. Visa issue ho chuka ho to screen par khul jata hai, wahin se print kar lein.
Check that your name and passport number match your passport exactly and that the visa type is Umrah. You must enter Saudi Arabia no later than 30 days after the visa is issued, or it is cancelled. Keep one printout in your hand luggage and the PDF on your phone.
Statuses like this belong to the application stage, before the visa is issued. Only an issued visa opens on the Print E-Visa page, so if it does not open yet, the visa is not ready. Your agent can tell you where the application stands.
