Thailand Visa for Pakistani Citizens — E-Visa Documents

What Is an E-Visa?

An e-visa is applied for online using scanned copies of your documents. You do not hand over your original passport — once approved, the visa is issued electronically. Print a copy and carry it with your passport when you travel.

Documents Required for the Thailand E-Visa

• Passport scan: first and second (bio-data) pages, clearly scanned (JPEG format)
• Photograph: high-resolution passport-size photo with a white background (JPEG format)
• CNIC: front and back scanned on a single page (PDF format)
• Bank statement and account maintenance certificate: last 3 months, with a minimum balance of PKR 250,000
• Occupation details: business or job, with your personal contact number
• Annual income details
• Confirmed return air ticket and hotel reservation (PDF format)
• Previous Thailand visits: details, if any
• File size: all PDF files must be no more than 3 MB

Important Notes

• The embassy can ask for additional documents if required.
• The embassy may take extra time for verification and can call you for an interview.
• The visa is subject to embassy approval.

Tips for a Smooth Application

• Passport validity: make sure your passport is valid for at least six months from your travel date.
• Scan quality: scan in colour, with all four corners visible and no glare.
• Photos: use a recent photo with a plain white background — don't edit or filter it.
• Names: check that your name is spelled exactly as it is in your passport on every document.
• Apply early: leave extra time in holiday seasons.

Before You Apply

Requirements can change at short notice. The embassy or immigration authority may ask for additional documents, and every visa is issued at their discretion.

Visa fees are generally non-refundable once an application is submitted, even if the visa is refused.
